Marseille, January 21, 2021 – The project financing team of CVE, a France-based independent producer of renewable energy, has been strengthened with the arrival of Darryl Tishler, who joined CVE North America at the end of 2020 as M&A and Financing Director, Ana de La Mata and Romain Floc’h, both project finance managers. Ana de La Mata, who works closely with Darryl Tishler, brings her expertise and support from Marseille for the financing of projects developed in the United States by the CVE American subsidiary – CVE North America. Based in New York, close to our main Chilean financial partners, Romain Floc’h is responsible for the financing of projects developed by the group’s Chilean subsidiary, CVE Chile.

Ana de La Mata, Project Finance Manager

Originaire du Mexique et titulaire d’un Master 2 en Economie et Droit de l’Energie, Ana a plus de 10 ans d’expérience dans des postes administratifs et financiers. Elle est depuis 7 ans spécialisée dans le financement de projets.

Ana a rejoint Quadran en 2013 lorsque les besoins en financement de projets et de capitalisation ont été déterminants pour la croissance du groupe en France. Elle suivra Qair en 2017, pour accompagner l’essor international du groupe Lucia. Elle est notamment intervenue au Chili, en Pologne, à l’Ile Maurice, au Burkina Faso et au Tchad sur des projets à construire ou en opération et parfois exposés au risque « merchant ». Sur toutes ces années, Ana a participé à la levée d’environ 650 millions d’euros. Ils ont servi à financer une cinquantaine de projets solaires, éoliens, biogaz et hydroélectriques, correspondant à une puissance d’environ 600 MW.

Depuis le siège du Groupe à Marseille, Ana assure la conformité du financement des projets situés aux États-Unis avec les règles Groupe. Ana est par ailleurs responsable du financement des projets africains de CVE.

Darryl Tishler, Directeur Finance et M&A – CVE North America

A graduate from University of California at Berkeley with a Bachelors degree in Economics and then UCLA Anderson School of Management with a MBA in Finance and Entrepreneurial Study, Darryl is an experienced investor and arranger of financing and M&A (equity, tax-equity, debt) in the Infrastructure, Renewable Energy, Asset Based and Technology sectors.

He first joined Bank of America in 1998 and became a Vice President and most recently, Darryl was Director of Project Finance at Safari Energy. Overall, Darryl has led more than 100 transactions over 20 years with financing size in excess of $10 billion globally.

At CVE, Darryl is M&A and Financing Director at CVE North America.

Romain Floc’h, Project Finance Manager

Romain is graduated from Ecole Centrale de Lyon, with a specialization in environment (Master’s Degree at Southampton University) and then from IAE in Paris with a specialization in finance. He combines field experience in renewable energy and project finance.

He first developed, built and maintained wind farms within Maïa Eolis for 4 years, before being selected to be the Renewable Energy Consulting Engineer at Société Générale. There he built the technical expertise and reviewed hundreds of projects and companies in the sector. Romain then joined Triodos’ new structure in France in 2013 as Relationship Manager for Renewable Energy. He has since secured financing for numerous wind, solar and hydroelectric projects and in particular with CVE.

At CVE, Romain is primarily responsible for the financing of Chilean projects from New York, allowing the Group’s project finance team to be closer to our Chilean financial partners mainly based in the United States.

In 2021, CVE plans to increase its workforce by almost a third compared to the end of 2020, with the recruitment of nearly 60 people in sales, finance, technical and support functions. The Group brings together in-house all the expertise covering all the skills required to develop, finance, build and operate renewable energy production units and sell green energy.
